Knowledge Roundtable Accepted Into Mentorship Program

Knowledge Roundtable accepted into mentorship program

It’s 2015 and The Knowledge Roundtable is ready to make this our year! It’s our pleasure to announce that we have been accepted into Valley Venture Mentors (VVM) Mentorship program!

The Knowledge Roundtable is one of twelve other startups who have been accepted into the 2015 class out of over 40 applicants. For those who are unfamiliar with VVM, it’s a program that was created in 2011 which boasts a mentor community of 1,000 coaches strong. Since the program’s inception they have graduated 50 startups.

While KnowRo gathered the courage to apply for the 2015 VVM Mentorship program we have had our eyes set on the organization for the past year. In the past year company founder, Jared Rand, has attended monthly VVM meetings where he has seen up close and personal “how much the startups benefit” from the meetings and programs. Also, in the past year Rand has met “so many great, experienced entrepreneurs.”

It was these experiences coupled with Rand’s desire to take The Knowledge Roundtable to the “next level” that spurred him into applying for the program.

Jared and the company hopes that this six month program will give him the opportunity to “refine the company’s business model” so as to better “fit the needs of customers.” With the help of the VVM mentor community he hopes to prepare the company for “investment readiness” by the end of the program.

It’s going to be a long six months but at the end of the program we are sure that the meetings and sleepless nights preparing for them will be so worth it!

We want you, our customers, to share in this journey with us so we’ll be updating this post periodically to talk about our progress as well as give you an inside look at the mentorship program. We hope you’ll enjoy the behind the scenes look and are as excited by this opportunity as we are!

Talk to you all soon!
