Mitosis is the cell division that creates two identical daughter cells to the parent(clones).

Sample Problem

What are two differences in animal cell mitosis and plant cell mitosis?

-In animal cells, the cell membrane pinches in, which creates two daughter cells. Also, animal cells have centrioles to involve in spindle formation.
-In plant cells, a cell plate is created, which divides the parent cell into two. Unlike animal cells, plant cells do not have centrioles.
