Intro
The order of operations can be tricky. A key to ensuring computation is accurate, is to review the order of operations. This problem has a twist that also involves calculating negative numbers.

7-[8-4(3-5)] Evaluate the innermost grouping symbol first.
= 7-[8-4(-2)] Perform multiplication before subtraction.
= 7-[8-(-8)] When subtracting negative numbers with unlike symbols, follow the rules.
=7-16 Apply the rule for subtraction.
=7+(-16)= -9
Answer: -9
