Subject Verb Agreement
In English, we conjugate our verbs based on the subject. If the verb is conjugated incorrectly, we call it a subject verb agreement error.
Barbara (walk/walks) to school everyday.
1)Determine the subject
Our subject here is Barbara. Barbara is one person, so she is singular. We are not Barbara, and we are not talking to Barbara, so the sentence is in the third-person.
2)Determine the conjugation
Barbara is third-person singular, so we add an s to the verb if it is regular.
