Hi, I'm Allen. I am a master's student at the University of Minnesota where I study Statistics. My research is on building statistical models for the biology department. The goal is to predict how many seeds a plant will produce. The main challenge is to incorporate plant genetics into the model.
I have over five years of teaching and tutoring experience in math and statistics. I have taught students of all ages from middle school to graduate school. My favorite teaching experience was in graduate school as a TA for a statistics course. I taught weekly lab sessions to review tricky concepts from lecture, review common homework mistakes, and prepare students for the exams. My office hours were quite popular with over 10 students every hour. Many of my students were undergraduates who have now gone on to masters or PhD programs.
Whether you are working through a tough college course, looking for an ACT/SAT tutor for your son or daughter, or looking to quickly improve your grades in a math course, I'm your guy! I have had great success with many private students and would love to see you realize your goals as quickly and painlessly as possible.

He is a prompt patient tutor that my son loves to work with even if he is not up to it. Allen goes slow and works very patiently with my son and gets proven results. We continue to use him and have now added him working with my senior son as well. Well worth the money and time!!!
