I am a second grade teacher at the moment. I have my BA from Arizona State University in both Special Education and Elementary Education, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude. Several of my second graders last year came in not knowing the 26 letters in the alphabet, but after one month of after-school tutoring with me, most are at or just below grade level readers. I am very hands on and love working with struggling students! I was previously a fifth grade teacher, and worked with students of all ages through my years of teaching, being a counselor, and paraprofessional.
