Stanford PhD And Instructor In Writing, SAT, ACT, And AP History
Daniel has a true passion for reading, writing, and languages. He reads in five languages, and is now studying an indigenous language from Mexico. He has worked as a tutor for four years and has had great success with many students, ranging from elementary school to college-age, and non-traditional students. He believes in mentorship– in giving students the tools, confidence, and environment to make discoveries and confront challenges.
He is working on a doctoral dissertation in European history at Stanford University, and graduated with highest honors in history from UC Berkeley. He has taught college history at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
For fun, he has been taking ballroom dancing courses for several years, and is part of a dance collective.
