Science Queen And Math Afficionado, Here To Help YOU!

Greetings, fellow scholars! I'm Jacci, and I'm a science- and mathaholic. School can be rough, especially when it comes to math and the hard sciences. I totally get it. But fear not, help is on its way! I received my undergraduate degree in biochemistry, while torturing myself with many upper division math and physics classes. Speaking of torture, I went on to graduate medical school and complete a year of a pathology residency. I decided that medicine wasn't my bag, and resigned. I'm off next year to start work on a PhD in behavioral neuroscience, because I realized that research and teaching in this area are where my true passions lie!
So that's great and all, but what about my experience? Am I actually a robot-zombie that just regurgitates information when asked, in binary code (of course), like some creepy futuristic vending machine of knowledge (and DOOM)? Or can I actually interact with and help people learn? Wellll… I tutored chemistry and organic chemistry through undergrad, and tutored pharmacology and pathology through med school. I also taught pharmacology simulation labs for a year. I taught rotating medical students during my pathology residency, and during my time working at a psychiatric clinic. I have given many lectures and presentations to fellow students, residents, and attending physicians throughout the years. I currently teach English to adorable Chinese children via the strange and mysterious Interwebs. So what does all this gibberish MEAN??? I love to teach and tutor science (AND MATH!), and I've had years of experience. I'm good at organizing and presenting information to others (this means you). And I want to help!
What does this mean for YOU? If you are struggling (and we've all been there), I can help you with:
Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics, Algebra (all levels), Geometry, Trigonometry, Biology, Genetics, Anatomy, Physiology, Histology, Microbiology, and Pharmacology. If you are a medical student, I can probably help you with any subject you're wrestling with. So, get to it! Let's do some learning!
