I, Eloise Griffith, am a recent certified candidate through the Program of Alternative Certification for Educators (PACE) in Business Education. I enjoy working with students of all levels. I have a positive attitude and a passion to assist and inspire struggling learners.
In my experience as an After School Coordinator, Team Leader, and long-term Substitute teacher; I understand that people learn things differently and at different paces. Most students/people struggle with a subject or matter, usually because their learning style conflicts with the style or pace with which is being use for teaching.
My preference in tutoring; is one on one; although; a class of two to three is just as motivating! Tutoring in this way allows the student/person the opportunity to learn at his or her most advantageous pace. I understand also; that there are students; that need a little extra attention.
In my free time; I love substitute teaching, working part-time as a behavioral counselor, traveling, walking/exercising, giving and planning social events with family or friends, entertaining my grandchildren, and enjoying romantic dates with my wonderful husband.

Eloise has been such a big help in tutoring me for my GED in Language Arts. I don't think I would have been able to feel confident enough to schedule the test without her help. She helped me improve my language arts skills along with showing me ways to continue to improve. Her tutoring is very easy to understand and her teaching methods are second to none. She always had a smile on her face and when I encountered problems or had questions, she helped solve or answer them to my understanding. I definitely would recommend her for tutoring giving her a 5 Star + rating.
