Profile

I have just completed my Bachelor of Science with a major in Life Sciences at Queen's University and plan to attend medical school this fall. During my degree, I achieved over 90% in every course that I took. However, what I've always loved most is using my own academic success to help other people! As such, I've been tutoring for many years. My experience includes one-on-one tutoring at both the high school and university level in subjects such as chemistry, English, physics, mathematics, and physiology. I have also volunteered for several years as an instructor for an organization called SOS, in which I teach university biology exam prep sessions to classes of over 150 students. In 2015, I was selected as one of the top five SOS instructors from over 200 in Canada! I am extremely passionate about teaching and would love to help you (or your child) meet your academic goals, whatever they may be.

Blood Types

Blood types are one of the most interesting and applicable examples of genetic inheritance. However, they can be a bit tricky to wrap your head around. This problem challenges you to apply a basic understanding of blood type genetics to a real-life problem (which is something that teachers love to do on tests!)
