Science & Math & English Tutor For All Ages & Ability Levels
So far in my professional career evolution I’ve engaged in many educational and psychological pursuits. I received a BA in Psychology and completed coursework in the BS Neuroscience & Behavioral Biology at Emory University, and minored in Religion & Film. I received a MA Psychology at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). I’ve taught fourth grade science and math at an inner city elementary school, done research with math and reading disabled, and exceptional children. I served as a psychological assistant investigating young children language categorization ability and developing sense of self. I taught SAT for the Princeton Review (reading, math, writing, and grammar), taught university courses (Psychology and Chemistry), and am currently an online Professor of Psychology for UT Tyler and Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), and one-on-one tutor for higher level science and math areas for high school and college students. In the healing arena, I’ve served as addictions counselor and clinical psychologist (Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Adolescents, Bipolar, Addictions, Schizophrenia, Neuropsychological, Psychological Evaluations). From these experiences I've been able to investigate/facilitate the acquisition of essential psychological components of a wide range of intellectual and developmental milestones; effective performance in the realm of beneficial psychological adjustment and skills pertinent to successful enagement in the realms of philosophical, psychological, scientific, and critical skills development. These experiences help make me an effective instructor and clinician for creating a dynamic, versatile, inspiring, and interactive learning environment where students can actualize their potential in Psychological, critical thinking, scientifically rigorous, and intellectually and socially satisfying realms. I'm also proficient in the area of music journalism & band promotion– I'm working closely with a national & international touring punk sensation. Take together, I have the education and knowledge basis for being an effective tutor in a wide array of areas for a wide range of student ages and abilities.
