You will see a big difference in your child's approach to homework, learning, and self-confidence. The goal is to turn youth around from struggling learners into life long learners.

I take student where they are and build-up their confidence and ways to see their problem in getting the lesson done. The big thing is to show a student in need of tutoring work now and have a great Summer! I save students from Extended School Year.

I have nearly 10 years (K-12 public schools, recreation, and enrichment programs)working with students that struggle for all kinds of reasons. IStudents like me. I respect them and a get them working.

As an educator and as a clinician I understand how to motivate: the stubborn (oppositional) student, the under achiever, the child with a learning disability (dyslexia), students with developmental disabilities (ASD/Asperger, Life Skills low-functioning, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other combinations), or low self-esteem.

I have lived overseas non-native speakers find a sympathetic multicultural support. As a clinician I have had very positive results with children in foster-care or a traumatic past.

In specialized subjects for older students I was a teaching-assistant while in graduate school. I am published with a strong interdisciplinary background.

The greater the challenge in a case the greater my ability to find ways to get results.
