My passion is to help others see their true potential and find success to satisfy themselves. One of the most important parts of finding self-success in academics is developing an individuals confidence in their own abilities. I have found that establishing a comfortable environment and student-tutor relationship is the best way to find this confidence. I have a lot of experience working with students who having testing anxiety, executive functioning disorders or difficulties, and/or ADD or ADHD. It is important to make an individualized plan for each person and their learning style.
I have found personal success with helping students I tutor to increase ACT scores by several points, and reworking the understanding of particular subjects for students who have struggled.
For the most part, my age experiences ranges from 5th grade through high school seniors. With my help, many people have found a stronger basis in understanding and rather than simply passing, they begin to truly understand. Identifying strengths and strengthening weaknesses is an essential part of my objective as a tutor. There is no shame in struggle and there is no shame in asking for help, that is why I love to help in tutoring.
