English Language & Literature And Foreign Language Expert / SAT & LSAT Test Prep
Hi there! I graduated from a top liberal arts college with a B.A. in English; I also have a degree from UCLA School of Law, where I focused on Entertainment Law. At Williams College I was a member of the Writing Workshop, a paid position which allowed me to tutor fellow students in need of assistance writing papers, and served as copy editor to the school newspaper. I also spent a summer teaching English to gifted inner city students in New Orleans.
Spanish was my first language, and through a combination of self-teaching and taking a Spanish 101 class in college, I am now able to tutor beginning and intermediate level students in that subject. I took Italian 101 and 102 in college as well. I am fully fluent in French, having studied and spoken it for 14 years. For those interested in SAT test prep, I scored an 800 on the verbal section of the SAT, 730 in math, and 800 in writing. My LSAT score was a 170 – full disclosure though, my weakest area was Logic Games, so I would be best suited to tutor students looking for help in the Logical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension and Essay portions of the exam.
I have a passion for learning and hope to make tutoring sessions exciting and fun! Looking forward to working with you.
