I graduated from USC Upstate with a BA in Education in 2003. I completed several long term medical leaves and maternity leaves from kindergarten to the fifth grade before teaching 7th Grade Language Arts. I then began working with Social Services, the Department of Corrections, and lastly, Vocational Rehabilitation. While working at Voc Rehab, I was employed as a Job Coach for high school students transitioning into work. I also worked as a Job Readiness Training Coordinator, assisting clients in further training before re-entering the work force due to a disability.
