My name is Kara, and I tutor in English grammar, reading, and writing (both academic and creative). At the University of Montevallo I was an Honors Program student and a member of the English honors society, Sigma Tau Delta. I also have experience tutoring with the Literacy Council of Central Alabama in downtown Birmingham, Alabama.

I enjoy helping students organize their thoughts and express their messages effectively to an audience. I hope for the opportunity to help you or your student become college-ready in their language and writing skills.
