During my academic career I have accrued a total of 5 years tutoring experience focusing in writing, literature, and public speaking. When I went to graduate school I became a teaching fellow, and expanded those skills to fit a classroom environment, while still utilizing one-on-one teaching with my students in the form of frequent conferences. The potency of one-on-one teaching goes beyond anything a classroom can achieve when it comes to aiding a student with specific issues in their work. For this reason, I have always found tutoring to be one of the most rewarding positions in education.
