I am a LSU Chemical Engineering student graduating in 2020 with a Biomolecular concentration and Biology minor. I graduated from St. Joseph's Academy, a college-preparatory high school, with honors and 4.0 GPA (earning the highest TOPS achievement). Before returning to school full-time, I was promoted to Assistant General Manager at Sushi Masa becoming the third in overall leadership in a multi-million dollar growing business. I have informal experience in tutoring class mates throughout middle and high school and my little sister, who's currently in 5th grade.
I value the uniqueness of every mind and strive to work patiently with the student in order to adapt to his/her learning style and develop the most beneficial strategies. I aim to expand curiosity and encourage creativity. My overall objective is to foster genuine interest, growth, and understanding in an environment comfortable for the student. I am able to teach all elementary subjects, including Spanish, for grades 3rd - 8th. However, I specialize in Math (all algebras including pre-), Sciences (biology, chemistry, & physics), and English (essay writing & reading comprehension).
