My name is Kevin Schlichter. I am currently a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee pursuing my M.S. in Criminal Justice, where i work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and was a recipient of the Chancellor's Graduate Student Award. In may 2017, I graduated Cum Laude from St. Norbert College, with B.A. degrees in both psychology and sociology. At St. Norbert, I worked as a teaching assistant in the sociology department, served as a co-social chair in the Psychology Club, and helped establish the Student Advisory Board with the Office of Career and Professional Development. I was also a 4x letterwinner and 8x conference all-academic honoree in Track and Field.

I graduated from Lakeland Union High School in 2013, with a cumulative GPA of 3.9 and an ACT score of 30. I was a member my school's National Honor Society local chapter, and as part of my service, I tutored peers in various courses and subjects such as spansish, english, math, science and social studies.

I consider myself to be strong in a wide array of subjects, especially social studies and writing. I have performed exceptionally on writing assignments in college-level, writing intensive classes in English, social sciences, and philosophy, as well as on national tests like the ACT and GRE. I have submitted several pieces of writing for publishing in research journals for undergraduate students.

I have worked with school-aged children for 3.5 years through various jobs in day camps and afterschool programs, and love working with and helping young people in and out of the classroom!
