English Literature, Grammar, Geography, History
I found that at an early age I had an aptitude for reading and English composition. When I was in 5th grade I was scholastically tested and found to have second-year-college reading level. I often assisted fellow students in high school, helping them to understand better various facets of literature. I have always been extremely careful and prideful about my composition abilities.
My first position out of college was as a proofreader and occasional copy editor for four publications produced by a Worcester, MA, publishing company. Shortly before that I worked as a sports reporter for a hometown weekly called "The Blackstone Valley Tribune." I also took an interest in world geography as a junior high schooler when I was in private school. I learned that pronunciation of town and city names were just as important as noting proper locations.
