This fall, I will be a first year graduate student in history at the University of Maryland, College Park. I received my undergraduate degree in 2012 from Sarah Lawrence College. Upon graduation, I moved to Jeonju, South Korea where I taught ESL to children ages 4-14 for a year. Though not directly applicable, I taught swim lessons for two years, providing me valuable insight into the energy and creativity needed to teach young children.
I scored in the 95th percentile for verbal on my GRE and the 98th percentile for analytical writing. I am proficient in Spanish and can help with Spanish homework as well.
