Hi there! I'm Erin and I recently moved back to the Twin Cities from London where I was doing a Master of Science in global mental health. IDuring my time abroad, I worked with young people aged 16-25 who had experienced mental health issues or have cared for people who suffered from poor mental health. Before moving to the UK, I worked with college bound and college aged students at a local university as an advisor. In addition, I have experience teaching ESL in Minneapolis, and have direct teaching experience abroad in French speaking countries which include France, Mali and Haiti. I have a Master of Arts in international leadership and public policy, and a Bachelor of Arts in international studies and French. I'm currently looking to tutor as I complete PhD applications. I'm keen to tutor elementary to high school aged pupils in the areas of: English (reading, writing and speaking); geography; history; psychology; elementary math; French; political science and health related topics and courses. I'm able to work with students who have a history of mental health issues as I understand how poor mental health can affect concentration and confidence in feeling up to work on topics that may not always interest them.
