I am a Kindergarten teacher in the Evergreen Public School District, in Vancouver. However, I live in the Portland metro area. I love teaching, it is absolutely the best job I could ever imagine! I have my Masters in Teaching from Lewis & Clark College and a BS in Psychology from Oregon State University. One of the things I love most about Kindergarten is getting to watch a student start out knowing a handful of letter names, and in a matter of months independently reading a level B book. It is truly amazing to see how far these kiddos grow and to watch a love for school blossom. I am looking to tutor part time to give back to even more students, when a child has a chance for one on one attention, that is when great things have the potential to happen!
