## Profile

I am a high school student with extensive experience with math and science. I am very interested in physics, math, and astronomy, and am planning on perusing a career as an academic scientist and (hopefully) eventually a college professor.
I am (reasonably) friendly and good at explaining math and science concepts at all levels. I get the impression that the passion I have put into learning these subjects, especially math, from the ground up has given me insight to share that many teachers do not have.
I have experience working with both my classmates in high school and elementary school students. I am comfortable teaching math from the most basic introduction to numbers through second semester calculus. I can also tutor high school level biology, chemistry, physics, astronomy, and computer programming in Java.
I scored an 800 on the math SAT and a 790 on the evidence-based reading and writing SAT. I also scored an 800 on both the Math II and Physics SAT Subject Tests.
