Hello! I am a Pre-Med student at SLU and I am graduating in December of 2017! I found myself tutoring without even realizing it in middle school and formally started tutoring my freshman year of high school. Throughout high school and college, I have mostly been a freelance tutor for all ages including some college. In 2013, I accepted a position as a tutor at Southeastern in the Center for Student Excellence and loved it! The training I received through the center was amazing and allowed me to further my techniques and skill set with my students. I taught in groups, one-on-one, and online in Biology, Chemistry, English, and Math. Now, I am even more capable of setting plans up for students depending on their learning style. In 2017, I joined a research project that focused on teaching genetics to high school and college students with a STEM curriculum style. I love being interactive with my students and finding creative ways to help my students.
