Hello! I am a recent graduate from the College of the Holy Cross. I majored in Biology and specifically took many environmentally-based biology courses (botany, entomology, oceanography, freshwater ecology, etc). I am familiar with all general biology information up through high school level. As noted, my biology courses in college were a bit more fine-tuned but I was provided with a comprehensive background in the introductory biology sequence which consisted of a general cell & molecular bio course, a general mechanistic bio course, and a general environmental bio course. I have laboratory experience with biology and am comfortable in the field as well.
Additionally, I have taken college courses in other STEM fields. I took a calculus course and four chemistry courses (with lab components). The chemistry courses consisted of a course on atoms & molecules, two organic chemistry courses, and a course on equilibrium & reactivity. I was trained to be a STEM tutor at my school and have worked at a teaching assistant in biology lab courses.
