Former Teacher Tutors In All Subjects
Liz is a former Education Specialist and on-site program coordinator for Special Education services. In the last three years, Liz taught and supported middle school students with learning differences in math, science, history, and ELA. Prior to earning her teaching credential, she taught English at a bilingual elementary school in Madrid, Spain. She also held private tutoring sessions to help students improve their reading, writing, and speaking skills in the English language. Liz is a proud Cal Bear, having earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC Berkeley. More recently, she earned her Master's in Special Education from Loyola Marymount University. Liz decided to leave the classroom to tutor on a personal basis as this allowed her to truly reach students without the school politics. Motivated by her work as a teacher, passion for students, and love for school, Liz hopes to bring her students rigorous and personalized education on a 1-1 tutoring basis.
Liz loves traveling, speaking Spanish, reading, playing soccer, and socializing with family and friends.
