I am going into my second Grinnell College and intend to declare as a Spanish major with a concentration in linguistics. Although only a second year, I will be taking Spanish at a third year level next semester. I got a 4 on the AP Spanish test my senior year of high school and A-'s in my Spanish classes both first and second semester of 2015/2016.
I love to help and meet new people and have been told I'm very understanding and patient when it comes to teaching others. Although I've never had the opportunity to formally tutor before, I believe that as a hard worker and someone who genuinely loves both Spanish and helping people, I will do well as a tutor and my tutees will learn well from me. Also, I hope to become a pediatrician and work in Latin America, so the sooner I can start using my Spanish with kids, the better (even though some would still consider me a kid, too!)!
Intended B.A. Spanish
