UNH English Professor And SAT/ACT Verbal Instructor
Stephanie received her PhD in English from the University of Pennsylvania. Since Fall 2010, she has been a full-time faculty member of the University of New Hampshire's English department. Prior to becoming an academic she worked in the publishing industry in New York City. She is the author of a bestselling academic book, Chick Lit and Postfeminism (2011), and has received several distinctions for her teaching. For three years she taught part-time for The Knowledge Roundtable for their group classes in the subjects of SAT Critical Reading and Writing. She was given administrative control in early 2017 by Jared Rand of the small group classes and then rebranded them under the company name Seacoast Test Prep, which she runs with a math instructor. She lives in Portsmouth and can commute for tutoring in the Seacoast area.
