Standardized Test/College Essay Instructor And Math/Science Enthusiast
Hello perspective tutees and parents! Here is a little bit about myself: For high school I attended Phillips Exeter Academy. I am currently participating in the Princeton Bridge Year Program in Bolivia. Here I am learning Spanish and volunteering in an environmental NGO. Next fall I will attend Princeton and begin my major in Civil and Environmental Engineering. I love working with kids and was a camp counselor/area director for the last three summers. I am very passionate about empowering women in science and math, as well as supporting all regardless of developmental capabilities. In high school I was the co-head of American Sign Language for children as well as Gal Pals a club designed for women with developmental disabilities and Gals from the Exeter community. I also have a bit of experience working with an elementary level math team. I am only available in the summer, as currently I am in Bolivia. I would love to work with anyone who would like help studying for standardized tests (I scored 800s on both Chemistry SAT II and Math 2 SAT II as well as high scores on the ACT), college essays and the college process, private school applications, or who just wants to get a head start for the school year in math or science. I cater my approach to the individual while lean towards a hands-on, creative problem solving method.
