I have gained an excellent, precious, and rewarding more than one-year experience of supervising school-aged children, working with infants, toddlers, preschool, prekindergarten and kindergarten children at different schools, preschools, kindergartens, and Montessori day-care centers in Dunedin, New Zealand. Moreover, I have more than four-year experience of voluntary/paid one-on-one English language tutoring at an international level: in New Zealand, Germany, and Iran which has given me a robust foundation of working in diverse educational environments. I also have an excellent experience of tutoring Sociolinguistics at the Department of English and Linguistics, in University of Otago, in Dunedin, New Zealand, I provided support for my international students including consultation, meetings, and markings. Not least of all, my whole doctoral research project has focused on teaching and learning English language based on sociocultural theory which is originally about child development. So, I am fully aware of the concepts of individual children differences, learner-centre way of teaching, and enabling children to achieve academic independence, self-confidence, social competence. I know that one size does not fit all children; I regulate my supervising, tutoring, and teaching to individual children’s unique personalities and learning styles. I strongly believe that I am very suitable for this position because I know about teaching, learning, and the important contributions of social and cultural factors on child education and development far more than an average teacher.
