I graduated Cum Laude, made Dean's List every semester, and was inducted into the National Dean's List, Phi Eta Sigma, and Psi Chi honors societies. After I attended professional programs at Stanford University in CA (the Summer Institute in Political Psychology 2009), the Harvard School of Public Health in MA (Executive Certificate training program in "Ergonomics and Human Factors: Strategic Solutions for Workplace Safety and Health"), Portland State University (1st Annual Summer Institute in Occupational Health Psychology (SIOHP)), numerous workshops and programs at Princeton, Rutgers, Boston University, and Tufts. I am also continuing my professional certification trainings at the University of Cambridge, UK in the field of Psychometrics; then, come fall term of 2018 I will be beginning three consecutive masters programs at the University of Exeter, UK. Hopefully this academic outline helps to convey how seriously I take my own academics and in turn, will treat yours with the very same level of importance and dedication.

I have been tutoring and mentoring students from ages 12 to 19 (and all manner of backgrounds and populations) beginning in 2001. I am currently training in Executive Function Coaching, which fundamentally focuses on identifying bad or negative habits and permanently replacing them with very positive ones, with implementation methods and trainings that are very effective at making such changes permanent. I have always possessed a natural research, academic, instructor-type, etc. qualities, which means several very advantageous things for those with whom I work. I can customize ANY subject or academic discipline into a complete course just by request (I will gladly provide an example!). I assess those I am teaching and evaluate a great deal about what would be the most helpful and what they should avoid from then on. I also specialize, as I mentioned below, in subjects and skills that students find to be beyond helpful in their work. The explanations of how some of the techniques work can become a little wordy, but for example, I can easily triple a student's reading speed and greatly improve their comprehension between two weeks and two months time, depending on the student's adherence to the work.

My rates are very reasonable, I have a good deal of flexibility in my schedule so I may accommodate others far easier, I am able to commute to local libraries for one-on-one sessions, I will regularly request your feedback so that I may adjust my approach to suit your needs better, and I utilize a very broad array of educational tools (applications, online games and puzzles, a massive amount of free databases, tools, & resources, I will create CD recordings and DVDs of the material which we are studying so as to keep your mind stimulated and on task.

Also, if you are not satisfied with our first tutoring session and wish to seek another tutor, I will not charge you for the time. That is my quality promise and assurance to you as the student. Another plus, should our tutoring arrangement work out for us both I would certainly be willing to travel beyond 20 miles for tutoring sessions.
