## Profile

Hello, my name is Tia Ford and I am currently a college student, earning my degree in Business Administration. Prior to my current major, I was studying Engineering. Due to studying engineering, I was required to take many math classes over the course of three years. These courses include college algebra, precalculus algebra, calculus I-III, differential equations. Although my major is no longer apart of the STEM program, I have tutored student athletes on my college campus for over a year and a half. The courses I have tutored in are college algebra, calculus, trigonometry and geometry. Along with these courses, I possess skills such as qualitative methods, functions and graphs including linear functions, quadratic and other polynomial functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, zeros of polynomial functions, systems of equations and inequalities, critical thinking and applications of mathematical concepts to real-world topics such as descriptive statistics, growth and decay models, and finance, and basic graphing calculator skills.
