I'm a second year student at Seattle Pacific University studying Physiology with the intention of applying to medical school. I'm also considering getting an English minor. In the sciences, my favorite subjects are physics, calculus, and chemistry. In the humanities, however, I love English (renaissance literature especially), music (I play the cello and sung), and art history.
When it comes to teaching, I'm very patient and can understand the perspectives of my students. Because I know my subjects well I can explain the answers with whatever media is best for the student, whether they are a visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learner. I have a lot of unofficial tutoring experience through helping classmates through tough classes. My patience is learned through experience as an unpaid intern at Swedish hospital in Seattle and six years of childcare experience at my church.
I am also qualified in the material. In addition to my 4.0 in high school, I received 5's on AP Physics 1 and 2, AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Music Theory, AP Environmental Science, AP Human Geography, AP Psychology, AP Biology, and AP Literature and Composition. Additionally, I received 4's on AP Language and AP Chemistry. In my freshman year of High School I received a 4.0 in the general biology and general chemistry sequence, and also won the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Freshman Chemistry.
Will graduate from SPU June 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-med/Physiology and English minor
