I have tutored at UNM for two years and thoroughly enjoy it. It's extremely gratifying to help people gain an understanding of mathematics. For me, it is more than just a job. It is something that I take great pride. I have utilized tutors for my entire college career and think they are an invaluable resource. I think it is important to give back and help people achieve their goals.

For so many, math can be a huge obstacle. I think it is very important to gain different perspectives and approach it from many different angles. Everyone learns differently and the classroom is not always conducive to learning so I try to provide a different environment and style of teaching.
